| On our planet Earth there´s hardly a nature phenomen more impressive than the Grand Canyon. It offers a unique view into deep canyons and ravines, that have been cut by the immense force of the Colorado river, during millions of years pounding against the Colorado plateaus. Its diversity and variety puts the concept of dimension into a completely new perspective. Every year over five million tourists visit the Grand Canyon in the American state of Arizona. In this fascinating composition, young Austrian composer Thomas Asanger has tried to capture his impressions of this unique and exceptional nature phenomon in all its glory, which he got when he travelled the United States in December 2009.
